About Craps Simulator
Craps is one of the most exciting and fast-paced casino games. The game is played with two dice and offers a wide variety of betting options. At first glance, the Craps table can look intimidating with its many different bet areas, but the core game is actually quite simple.
Craps has some of the best odds in the casino. The Pass Line bet has a house edge of just 1.41%, and when combined with free odds bets, the effective house edge drops even further. Our simulator lets you experience all the action without any risk.
How to Play Craps
The game starts with a "come-out roll." If the shooter rolls 7 or 11, Pass Line bets win. If 2, 3, or 12 is rolled, Pass Line bets lose (this is called "crapping out"). Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) becomes the "point."
Once a point is established, the shooter keeps rolling. If the point number comes up again before a 7, Pass Line bets win. If 7 comes first, Pass Line bets lose and a new shooter takes over.
Beyond the basic Pass/Don't Pass bets, you can place Come bets, Field bets, Place bets on specific numbers, and various proposition bets. Each has different odds and house edges.
Craps Strategy
Stick to Pass Line and Come bets with maximum odds for the best house edge. The Don't Pass bet has an even slightly lower house edge at 1.36%. Avoid proposition bets in the center of the table, as they carry house edges of 10% or more.
The "3-4-5x odds" system is popular: take 3x odds on points of 4/10, 4x on 5/9, and 5x on 6/8. This brings the combined house edge below 0.5%.
