How to Play Video Poker

The minimum paying hand in Jacks or Better is a pair of Jacks or higher. Payouts increase for two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush, and royal flush. Always bet max coins when possible, as the Royal Flush bonus is significantly higher at max bet.

Optimal strategy in Video Poker involves knowing which cards to hold in every situation. For Jacks or Better: always hold a made hand (pair or better), hold four to a flush or straight, keep high cards (Jack+), and never break a paying hand to chase a higher one unless you have four to a Royal Flush.
